Balloon releases
and races

A balloon release is a colourful spectacle, attractive to the public and the press. It provides an occasion for a celebrity or local dignitary to be involved as they can be pictured holding the net and releasing the balloons. Children in particular enjoy the concept of a balloon 'race', wondering where in the world their balloon might end up.
